Cecil Antony

Chief Mentor - NSHM Group, Chairman - Synergy Group

With a dream to take business beyond boundaries, Synergy Group started its operations two decades back and today operates in 5 core areas: Education, Biotechnology, Solar Power, Food, and Infrastructure. The Group was founded by its Chairman Mr. Cecil Antony and Mr. Francis Antony, the Vice Chairman. Together they have built businesses with strong foundations. The Group's Biotechnology initiative includes a 7 million Plant Tissue Culture Facility and caters to the domestic and global bio-outsourcing market. The Infrastructure Division is setting up a 100 acre IQ City Project at Durgapur. The Food Division is serving the on-site and off-site food industry with reputed clients like TCS, Fortis Hospital, Medica Synergie Hospitals, etc. The Solar Division is manufacturing solar photovoltaic modules and is a 100% EOU. Its Education initiative has the flagship NSHM Knowledge Campus and is now settling up a Health City with a 750-bedded hospital, medical and nursing college, allied health science colleges, etc. in partnership with Narayana Hrudayalaya, led by Dr. Devi Shetty.

President & Country Head

A Post Graduate in Marketing, he comes with 16 years of rich experience in managing business in the education and training industry. He has vast knowledge of education service marketing and education centre operations. He has worked in both the formal and vocational education space with the world's leading education brands. He has developed deep knowledge of demographic and social factors which influences the education industry by managing huge retail and institutional sales channels. He has worked with leading brands like NIIT Ltd, Pearson, ICICI bank and Dabur. His other areas of interest are Key Account Management and Channel Expansion with managing a vast franchisee channel across eastern India and heading profit centres.
